New Interactive Comic Book “Xevicom Forever” Combines an Edgy Narrative with Animation, Sound, Hidden Features, and Achievements in a New Blend of Reading and Gaming

Today a new chapter in app-based comic books was launched with the release of interactive graphic novel Xevicom Forever for the bargain introductory price of $0.99 (normally $5.99).  In this incredible app for Android Tablets users will experience the futuristic world of Xevicom Forever in a completely new and immerse way.  More than a comic, Xevicom Forever features interactive dialogue, animated panels, interactive segments, hidden information, and the companionship of the one the world’s most insane AI companions.  By combining classic comic book storytelling with an edgy narrative and elements very familiar to gamers the world over, Xevicom Forever brings interactive storytelling to a new level for owners of Android tablets.

Set in a dystopian, nightmarish future, Xevicom Forever chronicles the interweaving stories of its three central characters in the city of Xevicom.  In Agent Trelaney, readers will encounter a man driven out of the city’s police force and onto a terrible path by the brutal murder of his brother.  In The Prophet, a vigilante who has come into Trelaney’s crosshairs, readers will catch a glimpse of the city’s dark, drug-infested underbelly, whilst in Spirits, readers will explore how this terrible vision of the future truly impacts upon the lives of the innocent.  In addition to these interweaving stories the entire graphic novel is framed by the app’s own ‘AI’ companion who will act as the comic’s narrator – as well as providing the reader with the best type of companionship his deteriorating memory core can provide.

“I am so excited by the release of Xevicom Forever as an interactive comic book (iComic),” author Ray Reid enthused upon the app’s release, “it will hopefully set a new benchmark for what can be achieved in interactive comics.”  In addition to animated panels and a soundtrack, Xevicom Forever features interactive dialogue scenes, hidden profiles which –when discovered– will provide new information on characters and scenarios, and achievements.

Xevicom Forever is currently exclusive to Android tablet devices (such as the Nexus) and is currently reduced from its standard price of $5.99 to just $0.99.  A ‘Lite’ version of the app (featuring the first part of the story) is also available for free.
