Arlington, Va., December 20, 2007– The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) today announced it has retained Nick Orfanopoulos of the Orfanopoulos Group, a former senior executive at the National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE), as a senior advisor for the 2008 International CES’ content and entertainment community and exhibits. Produced by CEA, the 2008 International CES is the world’s largest tradeshow for consumer technology and will return to Las Vegas, Nevada, January 7-10, 2008.

Orfanopoulos served more than 20 years with NATPE. As senior vice president of NATPE’s conference operations and sales, Orfanopoulos was instrumental in guiding the organization’s expansion and management of its annual conference, exhibition and year-round sponsorship opportunities.

Before joining NATPE, Orfanopoulos was vice president for CMC, a major producer of tradeshows for numerous industries. Prior to that, Orfanopoulos held various executive level positions at the Sheraton Center hotel in New York City.
