INTERNATIONAL CES RETAINS EX-NATPE OFFICIAL AS SENIOR TRADESHOW ADVISOR

Arlington, Va., December 20, 2007– The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) today announced it has retained Nick Orfanopoulos of the Orfanopoulos Group, a former senior executive at the National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE), as a senior advisor for the 2008 International CES’ content and entertainment community and exhibits. Produced by CEA, the 2008 International CES is the world’s largest tradeshow for consumer technology and will return to Las Vegas, Nevada, January 7-10, 2008.

“As the International CES increasingly becomes the‘must attend’ tradeshow for the digital entertainment industry, Nick Orfanopoulos is the perfect fit to ensure that we continue to serve the needs of the content industry in bringing relevant exhibits, speakers and special events to the International CES,” said Karen Chupka, senior vice president, events and conferences, CEA.“With more than 20 years in the television industry, we are thrilled that Orfanopoulos has come on board to offer his invaluable expertise and extensive knowledge of the content community.”

“I'm thrilled to be working with the International CES, the most exciting show on earth, and to have the opportunity to continue and maintain the relationships that I have developed during my 23 years in the TV content business,” said Orfanopoulos.

Orfanopoulos served more than 20 years with NATPE. As senior vice president of NATPE’s conference operations and sales, Orfanopoulos was instrumental in guiding the organization’s expansion and management of its annual conference, exhibition and year-round sponsorship opportunities.

Before joining NATPE, Orfanopoulos was vice president for CMC, a major producer of tradeshows for numerous industries. Prior to that, Orfanopoulos held various executive level positions at the Sheraton Center hotel in New York City.

The Orfanopoulos Group, headed by Orfanopoulos, provides strategic business development, marketing and sales services to the tradeshow and association community.
