J.U.L.I.A. campaign ends soon. IndieLude 'Thank You' concert announced.

Brno, Czech Republic - April 4, 2013 - CBE Software announces the last 9 days of the ongoing IndieGoGo crowdfunding campaign for creating an enhanced edition of a PC videogame J.U.L.I.A located at http://igg.me/at/julia-enhanced ;

As the campaign became a big success for CBE Software and the second stretch goal is already being approached, CBE would like to announce very special and unique event – live piano and cello recital broadcasted on YouTube as a thank you present to the community who is helping to fund the enhanced edition.

Jan Kavan explains the event: "As some of our loyal fans know, I am cello player and composer who came to the game development from the musical world. The idea to play a small music recital for the community was the very first idea which came to my mind when I was thinking how to thank you all for supporting us.

Together with my wife, Barbora Kavanová, who is a piano player, we’ve started our family tradition of home concerts already a couple of years ago. This however will be the first such a concert broadcasted directly from our home to the internet. We will play for example pieces of Ástor Piazolla or Gabriel Fauré as well as some of my own compositions and after the musical part we will continue by live answering of the questions about J.U.L.I.A. Enhanced Edition, the campaign and other things.

The event will be hosted by tireless indie supporter Say Salazar. Lukáš Medek, the visual artist behind J.U.L.I.A., will also join us."

The event will start on Wednesday 10th of April at 11AM PDT / 2PM EDT / 6PM GMT.

The live broadcast will be available at: http://www.youtube.com/CBESoftwaresro ;

As the final countdown begins, CBE Software strongly believes that it is possible to reach a fullscreen exploration stretch goal.

Jan Kavan sums again the idea behind the stretch goal: "We are going to change the exploration parts to a hybrid between J.U.L.I.A. exploration mode and fullscreen point'n'click adventure game. We will create fullscreen visuals for more than 50 exploration views, currently represented by mini images, and the actions will be issued through contextual menu interface. This way the spirit of J.U.L.I.A will remain but both visually and gameplay-wise the enhanced edition is going to become much more engaging."

CBE software has released a brand new comparison shot showing the visual difference between the visuals if the fullscreen exploration is reached. This time it’s inside one of the research stations located on a desert world of Salia 5.
