DUBLIN, Ireland– July 1st, 2011Gala Networks Europe, one of the leading free-to-play games publishers and operator of the portal is delighted to announce the start of the first Flyff World Championship on the German and French servers.

The manga-style MMORPG Flyff, was launched in Korea 7 years ago and since then has been made available in over 15 countries worldwide while building a strong community of over 30 million players. To thank the loyal community and players of Flyff, The Gala Group has decided to run a global event this year, which will unite all adventurers of Madrigal: The Flyff World Championship 2011.

The tournament will run from July to October 2011 with the preliminary starting today! Any group of 8 players is eligible to join in with the event and take the PvE challenge in the Coliseum where many previously slain and newly discovered boss monsters are awaiting our heroes.

But victory is not the only mission this time as only the fastest teams will qualify for the finals taking place from September. All groups can train and practice as often as needed as only the best time will be taken. Once the challenges of the regional preliminary are successfully overcome, the final groups will have to fight against each other in a classic PvP event, with the chance to win a combined prize worth $ 100,000!

Good luck to all players joining the competition from the entire Team and we hope to see a European team in the final battle.
