Cologne, August 21st 2012 – Nurogames, the publisher of app-hits like “The Expendables”, “Bibi Blocksberg” and “Tiny Bee” is about to release its newest app! As of Friday, August 24th “Poor Maya” will be available on the Apple App Store and Google Play for free! The game contains lots of entertaining high-quality animations and features, including natural disasters, Mayan outfits and great sounds.
In “Poor Maya”, the player interacts with Yucci, a small Mayan boy who is unlucky enough to face the end of the world in 2012. Yucci can be caressed, the player can change his clothes and make him pray and, most importantly, send various natural disasters upon him. Be it a huge meteorite or a terrible earthquake, we are spoilt for choice! Performing different actions allows us to collect experience points, which unlock further options as Yucci reaches new levels. However, with every action our little buddy loses health points and can eventually become exhausted. To regain health, the player can let him rest for a while or caress him by stroking the screen of the phone.
The application will be free to download from the iPhone App Store and the Google Play Store. To ensure more and more fun, additional functions can be either unlocked by reaching higher levels or bought using the in-game credits.
