Kamikaze Race for Android to be released early October

TastyPlay.com announced today that Kamikaze Race will be released as a free app for Android devices in early October, featuring OpenFeint support for cross-platform competition.

A deceptively simple slot racer, Kamikaze Race features a harried trip through rush hour traffic strapped into a car with no brakes and a stuck accelerator. The simple premise makes it perfect as a quick racing game. Two virtual buttons at the bottom of the touchscreen are used to steer back and forth. There's no brake, and the accelerator is stuck, so avoiding traffic while the car slowly accelerates is the key to success.

Kamikaze Race is one of the first Android games to integrate OpenFeint for online high scores and achievements, allowing for cross-platform competition between Android and iOS Kamikaze Race players.

Developed and published by TastyPlay.com, known for their variety of flash games, Kamikaze Race is sure to please racing game fans looking for a quick break on their Android cell phones. The game will be available on Android Market in early October free of charge.
