Kenshi gets its long-awaited audio update!

Kenshi has just received its most significant update ever, taking it up to version 0.50.  The new update includes armour crafting, new character AI controls, an overhaul of armour stats, and the main feature: sound!

Thousands of fans have been playing the game up to this point in complete silence, having to satisfy themselves with nothing but its awesome gameplay.  The poor things.

Still, it's probably safe to say that up to this point Kenshi was the worlds most commercially successful game with no sound.

Sound design and soundtrack is being undertaken by the amazing Kole Hicks, and is still ongoing.  Future progress is will involve a heavy transformation to the game world map, content and exploration.

Kenshi is a massively-singleplayer sandbox RPG with full base building, research and crafting elements.  It is available at and on Steam Early Access.

Developed by indie company Lo-Fi Games, they have now grown to a core team of 3 whole people and a fistful of freelancers.
