Game Changer – The Football Match Fixing Game is an iOS and Android game set in the shady world of soccer match fixing. The game is currently in development, and the developers have just launched a campaign on leading crowdfunding platform Kickstarter to raise funds for its completion.

Independent developers Game Changer Games, based in Seattle, have just launched a campaign to raise the money they need to finish making the first ever game based on football match fixing.

Match fixing has been the topic of a lot of scandal in professional soccer around the world in recent years, and the team behind the game want to create a humorous but challenging game where the player takes on the role of a match fixer, trying to make money by fixing games and betting on the outcomes. It uses story elements based on real life investigations into match fixing, as well as offering strategic gameplay that results in a combination of a Football Manager type sport management simulator, a Mafia Wars style organized crime game, and an RPG.

The Kickstarter campaign aims to raise $75,000, which will fund full development and testing of the game.
