Kuju is pleased to announce the formation of Kuju Partners which aims to help independent game studios bring their titles to market.
As the UK's largest independent developer, Kuju has unparalleled contacts and relationships within the games industry to assist with publisher negotiations. In addition it has the resources to offer independent developers administration services, games QA, games consultancy and the purchase of game technologies at preferred rates. The company is also well placed to assist with raising finance. For these services Kuju Partners would charge a fee based on the production budget and would share in the commercial success of projects developed in conjunction with them.
Headed by Kuju COO, Adrian Hawkins and supported by the newly appointed business development team, Kuju Partners has already signed an agreement with its first studio, b.AND.x Studios run by Christian Bittler. b.AND.x is working on a major new game with a planned multi-million dollar budget.
Dominic Wheatley, the new CEO of Kuju commented: 'I'm delighted that we are now representing b.AND.x Studios and look forward to signing up more independent games companies, helping foster and bringing to market exciting new titles.'
b.AND.x Studios CEO Christian Bittler sees the value of teaming up with Kuju Partners: 'We are passionate about developing our new game and believe in its potential. However, Kuju have been running their own studios for many years and have the experience and contacts that can turn potential into reality. It's a perfect arrangement for an independent like us.'
