Kyttaro Games announces the new, cerebral and improved Indie Dev Grant!

Having already supported such amazing indie projects as Maia, Under the Ocean and 99 Spirits and having helped bring more exposure to as many excellent indie games as we could, Kyttaro Games ( http://www.kyttarogames.com/) and Bundle In A Box ( http://bundle-in-a-box.com/) are happy to announce a brand new Indie Dev Grant and is ready for everyone’s submissions!

Here’s the announcement link:  http://blog.bundle-in-a-box.com/?p=368

Oh, and, of course, we are also more than excited to also announce our very next bundle: The Cerebral Bundle by Bundle In A Box, that will very soon be going live.

Just as we are upgrading the Indie Dev Grant, we are making everything in our power to make this the best BIAB offering to date.

So…

What is the Indie Dev Grant?

The Indie Dev Grant, that popular feature of Bundle In A Box we are most proud of, is a grant designed to help indie game developers actually create the games they've always wanted to. For every 100 bundles sold $15 will be added to the grant*. One indie developer (be it a group or an individual) voted by the esteemed fans of Bundle in a Box will get the whole amount after the bundle ends.

Should the bundle sell over 10,000 copies a smaller grant shall also be given to the second most popular entry.

No strings will be attached by either Bundle in a Box or Kyttaro Games. The grant can be used in any way the developer that earns it sees fit and will in no way be obliged to co-operate with Kyttaro Games or Bundle in a Box. Developers that have already taken part in one of our bundles or are willing to do so in the future are also eligible for the grant. Actually, absolutely anyone is free to enter; yes, even people trying to buy some time in order to create their next freeware gem.

Will the IDG help games get any exposure?

Yes, we know it will.

Each game or project will be presented on the BIAB Blog, our tumblr, facebook, google plus page and twitter and, of course, on the brand new Indie Dev Grant site we will very soon be revealing.

How can a game be submitted?

As gamers will start voting on the developer that will earn the grant from the moment the bundle launches, we do ask those interested in participating to contact us with their entries up to March 13, 2013.

To enter, please e-mail us at info@bundle-in-a-box.com and provide us with the following:

-A title for the project you are going to be using the IDG for.

-One screenshot or piece of concept art from your project.

-One link to your project’s or your personal site (if available).

-A description of your project (up to 200 words).

-Something about you or your team (up to 100 words).

-One link to a trailer from your project (if available).

-One download link to a demo or an early version of your project (if available).

Mail us and we’ll try to get back to you as soon as possible. Keep in mind that offensive or copyright infringing projects will not be accepted.

How can *you* help the Indie Dev Grant?

Well, you could spread the word about both the Indie Dev Grant and Bundle In A Box; after all, the financial help and exposure we can provide to indie developers is directly analogous to the popularity of our bundle.

What’s more, you can e-mail us at info@bundle-in-a-box.com to directly donate money to the grant. Details on donations and the names of donors will be available on the forthcoming Indie Dev Grant site.
