"L.A.W – Living After War": Developer interview with Lee Jang Wook

Munich, Germany, October 13, 2011. Since the first video interview about the post-nuclear action MMOG " L.A.W – Living After War“, players have been awaiting further details regarding the free-to-play highlight. Now, ProSiebenSat.1 Digital is publishing a developer interview with Lee Jang Wook, founder and CEO of the developer studio Nitrozen. In order to completely fulfill the community's wishes, the players themselves were given a chance to submit questions to the developer.

Lee Jang Wook answers questions

In the interview, Lee Jang Wook offers further insights into " L.A.W – Living After War“, talks about his work on the post-nuclear MMOG and reveals details about one of the game's core elements: real-time strategy gameplay in PvP mode. He also explains why and how " L.A.W – Living After War“ opposes the current trend in the MMOG genre by featuring no more than three classes of characters. The individual customization of the Warrior, Ghost and Esper characters offers far more opportunities than other big titles in the genre and will shape the classic MMORPG element of " L.A.W – Living After War“.

A special campaign was launched at alaplaya.net, enabling all interested players to submit their own questions concerning the action MMOG to Lee Jang Wook. The answers will soon be published through the games portal.

Lee Jang Wook also presents so far unseen materials from " L.A.W – Living After War“ at alaplaya.net, some of them created by him. He previously also made a name for himself as Lead Concept Artist during the development of Diablo III, and now his talents are proven with his own game, " L.A.W – Living After War“. The currently revealed concept art features weapons, impressive locations and unique characters and allows players to catch an exciting glimpse of the development of " L.A.W – Living After War“.

" L.A.W – Living After War“ describes the war between mankind and the nature-bound faction "Nak“. Survivors of a nuclear war on Earth flee the planet's radioactive pollution and escape into space aboard the starship "Tomorrow“. 200 years later, they return to reestablish civilization and rescue those who stayed behind. However, back on Earth they come face to face with the genetically mutated descendants of humanity – the "Nak“. An action-packed battle begins.

" L.A.W – Living After War“ is a client-based action MMOG and will officially open its gates to all players in the first quarter of 2012 at www.livingafterwar.de and law.alaplaya.net. The closed beta beginning in November 2011 will allow some users to experience the exciting real-time battle live in advance.
