When it was launched on iPhone and iPad on 10 May last, the video game “The Bluecoats –North vs South” (a turn-based strategy game spiced up with action sequences) soon won a following. It was acclaimed by the media and gamers alike. On its release it went straight to the top of the French leaderboards of paid iPad applications from the App Store. And it was first in the “Strategy” category of video games in more than 10 countries. It is also available for PC and Mac.

Anuman Interactive is pursuing its commitment to upgrade “ The Bluecoats –North vs South ” so as to meet players’ expectations as fully as possible. It is now releasing a second upgrade which brings numerous improved features in terms of visibility and outcomes. But best of all, a multiplayer mode has been added. Version 1.2 is being released at the same time as the title launch on smartphones and Android tablets.

Anuman Interactive Marketing Director Eric Nguyen explains: “ Only one detail was missing to round off the game “The Bluecoats – North vs South”. Adding a multiplayer mode to version 1.2 plugged the gap perfectly. And just to be sure we’re making everybody happy, we’re bringing out the game for Android devices at the same time in version 1.2.”

About version 1.2:

·         Visual details reworked for greater clarity in the game ( more detailed battles, more clearly defined attack ratings).

·         The new Multiplayer functionality comes in two modes:

o    Tactics

Two players can now take it in turns to play on the same machine or on a local network. The games are fully player-configurable. Battles are settled here by throwing dice and calculating statistics. Players can save games whenever they want.

o    Action

This mode is available only in local network. Each player must own the game (1.2 minimum version) and have his or her own machine. The game is cross-platform and can therefore be played in Versus mode on different mobile devices (iOS and Android) and very soon against Mac and PC users, too.
