BERLIN -- 6 th June -- Berlin-based game developer kunst-stoff is proud to announce the first birthday of J. Jitters, the adorable main character from the action puzzle game “The Great Jitters: Pudding Panic”. To thank all supporters, friends and gamers kunst-stoff offers the game for free from the 7 th until the 10 th June for iPhone, iPad and Mac.
“The Great Jitters: Pudding Panic” is a quirky casual game, which focuses on the ability of route-planning and quick reaction. Hero of the game is the shivering jelly “J. Jitters”, who is doomed to ride through the creepy comic worlds of a haunted house. The player is charged to puzzle his way through the maze of rails to find the exit.
To help the dessert out of his disaster the gamer needs to swap out rails at certain junctions and protect the pudding from the terrors waiting on the tracks: Angry witches, clattering skeletons and fire-spitting dragons roll over the rails and need to be defeated with an arsenal of crazy weapons, before the pudding gets scared to death.
Essentially a puzzle game, the fast-paced “The Great Jitters: Pudding Panic ” offers its players a cute but challenging experience for gamers, that want a little more out of their puzzle games besides block-breaking. A game full of humour, horror and haunted house vibes.
“We are very proud of our game”, said Patrick Rau, Managing and Creative Director of kunst-stoff. “It was exciting to see, how J. Jitters developed from a rough sketch on paper to a critical awarded game. Now Jitters celebrates already his first birthday but is still not tired to get his thrill in the ghost train. Gamers can expect to see more from our adventure -seeking pudding this year!”
“The Great Jitters: Pudding Panic” was already awarded with the RedDot Design Award 2011, the German Game Developer Award 2011 and the German Video Game Award 2012.
