New York, NY – July 16 th, 2013 – Independent developer Coda Games has received Sony's approval to bring Liege, a tactical RPG currently in development, to Playstation 4 and Vita. John Rhee, the project's creator, has announced a stretch goal in its fund-raising campaign to cover the cost of the port.
Liege is a story driven RPG with unique tactical gameplay inspired by chess, and a hand-drawn visual aesthetic. The project recently doubled its original funding target on Kickstarter with two weeks remaining in its campaign, and has a target goal set at $52,000 to bring the game to Sony's platforms.
"The games I played on Playstation consoles, including classics like FF Tactics, FFVII, Suikoden, and many more, had a huge influence on the vision for Liege" says Rhee, "so the thought of getting onto [Sony's] platform is pretty unreal."
Further details can be found on the project's Kickstarter campaign, as well as on the Coda Games website.
