LONDON, 27 APRIL 2012 - Indie game Thomas Was Alone, a minimalist puzzle-platformer about friendship and jumping, will feature an engaging quadrilateral-based story narrated by writer and TV personality Danny Wallace.
Wallace, who began his career working as a games journalist, subsequently made a name for himself as an author and, later, in television. He’s also no stranger to video game voice acting, having played Shaun Hastings in the Assassin’s Creed series.
In Thomas Was Alone, he tells the story of Thomas, a red block, as he teams up with a band of other quadrilaterals to solve a variety of environmental puzzles. Why do the blocks exist? What is their purpose? All will be revealed across the game’s 100 levels.
Samples of Wallace’s voice work can be heard in a new trailer, unveiled yesterday at GameCity Nights.
