Madden NFL 10: New Assets Now Available

May 18, 2009– New assets for Madden NFL 10 have recently been added to the Electronic Arts press site at

Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Madden NFL 10:

The 15 new screenshots for the Xbox 360/PS3 version of Madden NFL 10, focus on the new Pro-Tak animation technology, as well as authentic quarterback styles.

With Pro-Tak, drag defenders towards the first down marker, including up to 9-man gang tackles, fight for a fumble at the bottom of the pile, and evade the rush with all-new quarterback avoidance actions. Enhanced play at the line of scrimmage features a new blocking system that allows the quarterback to step into the pocket and gives the defensive line more control over the rush.

Authentic quarterback styles means that every starting QB is accurately recreated in their pre-snap stance, as well as their throwing motion.

Wii version of Madden NFL 10:

The 14 new screenshots include the all-new Madden Showdown mode, featuring SpotlightMoments, Game Changers and the Prediction System.

With Madden Showdown, you and three friends can get together to enjoy classic 11-on-11 football or experience the thrill of playing 5-on-5. In this quick, customizable competition, you and your friends will go head-to-head in an effort to become the next Showdown Champion. During Spotlight Moments cameras move in tight and gameplay slows down to allow you to influence the biggest plays of the game.
