Mafia Planet for iOS

Copenhagen, Denmark, 08 th May 2012 – Today, crowdplayce, the developer of location-based iOS games, based in Copenhagen, Denmark, announced the publication of “ Mafia Planet - a Real World Online Game”. Scheduled for release on May 23 rd 2012, the location-based iOS game lets players dive into the world of gangsters and work their way up to become a Don through battles and missions.

Mafia Planet is the first graphic, location-based crime game for iPhone and iPod touch. As Don, you start by claiming your own hood. Buildings, weapons, and defensive measures can be acquired to ensure the security of your own district. Thanks to the inclusion of a real world map, you can complete a variety of missions around your location - making the player the center of an open-ended massive multiplayer experience unique to every location. No matter if you’re in the office, out traveling, at school, at home or out in public – somewhere there’s always a bank that can be robbed, a nearby jeweler that can be plundered, or a passing mobster who can be mugged. A ton of different quests can be completed all over the world.

Other players are also shown on the map. They can either be attacked directly or their districts can be plundered. With missions and battles, players earn not only money, but also experience points for leveling and strengthening their mobster alter ego.
