OTTAWA, October 11, 2007 -- Magmic Games and IN-FUSIO have announced a partnership that will make IN-FUSIO's portfolio of mobile game titles available directly from carriers supporting Blackberry devices and Bplay, Magmic's BlackBerry entertainment direct-to-consumer portal. Under the terms of the agreement, Magmic acquires the exclusive rights to develop and market interactive mobile games for use on BlackBerry devices from IN-FUSIO's game catalog.
Concurrently with this announcement, Magmic launches Golden TeeT Golf Mobile Edge, the mobile version of the most successful coin-operated franchise in U.S. history. Designed to closely mimic the arcade game experience, Golden TeeT Golf Mobile Edge features four courses adapted from the coin-op game; single or two-player modes; quick-play Putting Edge and Driving Edge games and customizable golfers and replays, among other features.
Golden TeeT Golf Mobile Edge also features connectivity to Golden Tee's coin-op network, allowing players to check statistics, review contest histories and locate Golden TeeT machines in local areas. This represents the first time a mobile game has integrated with an established coin-operated network.
Golden TeeT Golf Mobile Edge is uniquely suited to BlackBerry devices. For instance, the BlackBerry Curve and Pearl devices feature a trackball that the mobile game employs extensively, further reproducing the arcade experience.
