Major League Gaming Launches Official League Membership Program in Advance of Anaheim Pro Circuit Competition

Competitor and Spectator Passes Now Available for Upcoming Anaheim Pro Circuit

New York– July 5, 2011– Major League Gaming (MLG), the world’s largest competitive video game league, today unveiled the official MLG League Membership Program.  Just in time for the upcoming Anaheim Pro Circuit event taking place at the Anaheim Convention Center from July 29-31, fans can now become MLG league members to receive discounts, free 720p high definition, LIVE video streaming of all events, and more. Gold MLG League members ($29.99-12 months) receive $10 off a competitor pass and $5 off a spectator pass for the upcoming Anaheim Pro Circuit competition, discounts on future Pro Circuit passes, early access to Pro Circuit events, high definition ad-free LIVE video streams of Pro Circuit competitions, discounts on MLG apparel and partner products and more. Silver MLG League members ($9.99-3 months) receive high definition, ad-free streams of Pro Circuit competitions, premium VoD and access to member only forums.

The Anaheim competition is the third stop on the 8 th annual MLG Pro Circuit tour where thousands of players will square off in a three-day, double-elimination tournament for a chance at more than $120,000 in prizes and stipends. Thousands of spectators will view all the action via three giant main stages with huge video screens and live commentating. Attendees can visit an array of booths featuring meet and greets with the Pros, the latest products from MLG partners, pre-release access to games and more. MLG members will be granted early entry into the convention center to meet the Pros.

For those that can’t make the event in-person, they can watch LIVE via four streams online at The recent Columbus Pro Circuit delivered a record-breaking 22.5 million online video streams to viewers in 164 countries. More than 15,000 fans attended over the course of the weekend and more than 1,300 players from around the world competed.  The online viewers, combined with in-person attendance made Columbus the largest Pro Circuit competition in MLG history.

Following the Anaheim competition, the 2011 Pro Circuit continues in Raleigh, NC (August 26-28) and Orlando, FL (October 14-16), culminating with the national championship in Providence, RI this fall (November 18-20).
