Mary-Margaret Network Announces Virtual Option for Job Fair Day

AUSTIN, TEXAS (Nov. 7, 2008)– Mary-Margaret Network announces a virtual option to the day-long job fair at the Independent Game Conference (IGC) Thursday, Nov. 20 from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Wyndham Garden Hotel, Austin.

“Adding the virtual option enables exhibitors and job seekers to actively participate in the job fair, and benefit from networking opportunities, without having to be present in Austin,” said Mary-Margaret Walker, CEO of Mary-Margaret Network.“We’re opening the door for world-wide industry talent to connect with hiring companies to partner and advance their careers—saving on travel costs is just an added bonus!”

The two-day, IGC event (Nov. 19 and 20) includes seminars on raising money to invest in a game studio, emerging development platforms, development for the iPhone, game politics, IP protection, game audio design and recruiting vs. outsourcing. The conference also boasts the hugely successful Game Demo Night featuring developers showcasing their latest games for their peers.
