Mashup Marathons

Starting on the 17th August, for 48 hours non-stop, four video game fans will be playing a mash up of retro, indie and blockbuster games, to raise money for the Cambridge Red Balloon Centre.

The Mashup Marathon starts this Wednesday, at 7PM British Standard Time (2PM EDT, 11AM PDT) and goes on, non stop, until the same time on Friday. The marathon shall be streamed on Ustream, with player commentary and prizes.

Red Balloon Learning Centres are a UK registered charity who provide safe learning environments for children who are bullied at school. - The Mashup Marathon shall be raising money for the Cambridge Red Balloon Centre, who provide a full time education and refuge for pupils bullied at school.

The games to be played in the marathon are:

·                Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light

·                Super Meat Boy

·                Rayman 2: The Great Escape

·                Limbo

The prizes for viewers and donators are:

·                Four copies of Limbo on Steam (Thanks to PlayDead Games!)

·                2 copies of Terraria on Steam

·                Beat Hazard Complete on Steam

·                Premium Minecraft

·                EDGE on Steam (Thanks to Two Tribes Games!)
