Mechanist Games Heading to PAX and GDC

February 19, 2013

Mechanist Games, developer of the upcoming MMORPG City of Steam , has announced its participation at this year’s PAX East gaming convention in Boston, MA. PAX (short for “Penny Arcade Expo”) is a festival that celebrates console, computer, and tabletop gaming culture.

PAX East opens its doors during March 20 to 22, 2013. Mechanist Games will be showcasing its first title, City of Steam, an independently developed browser-based industrial age fantasy 3D MMORPG based on the Unity 3D engine. Located at booth 582, registered under the game’s English-version publisher Reality Squared Games (R2Games), the developer will be stationed near the Indie Megabooth, keeping its indie roots close to heart.

During the Game Developer’s Conference (GDC) in San Francisco, CA, Mechanist Games will not exhibit at a booth within the convention, opting instead to offer private interviews with gaming press and media for the duration of the event, March 25 to 29. Interested parties are encouraged to contact the developer for interviews and game previews through pr@cityofsteam.com
