LONDON, ENGLAND – Leading mobile-social game developer Mediatonic has opened a new studio in Brighton, England, as it continues its drive to become the world’s leading Games as a Service provider.
As well as building original titles, the Brighton premises will further strengthen the company’s Live Operations efforts; housing teams that will develop new features and content for live products, advancing its cloud infrastructure, and using analytical tools to learn from the demands of millions of game players worldwide.
The expansion comes on the back of rapid growth at its Soho office, which despite having been relocated to larger premises in Wardour St in March of this year is already approaching capacity, significantly exceeding growth plans announced at the beginning of the year.
Mediatonic intends to hire up to 50 positions across all disciplines in the year ahead, with an emphasis on mobile and web technologies.
