Men’s 100m releases updated multiplayer version

The Olympics may be over, the world’s greatest athletes may have gone home, but iPhone sprint gaming has never been more competitive. Based on user feedback, the Men’s 100m iPhone game has been tweaked, fixed and improved and the latest release is available to download from the app store.

It’s a pure test of nerve and reaction speed and now Men’s 100m lets you compete against your friends in a single game. That’s right, now you can go head to head over Bluetooth for exclusive bragging rights.

The basic gameplay remains the same. As soon as you hear the starting pistol, tap the screen. The quicker you react the better your time. Watch out, though - tapping too soon results in disqualification from the race. There are still achievements to aim for, ranging from awards for the fastest times to booby prizes for impressively bad performances. There are also specific achievements for Bluetooth. If you manage to win 10 multiplayer games you can claim the title “King of the Hill”, or just play 20 matches to attain “Challenge Me” status.

As well as Bluetooth multiplayer there’s single player mode that lets you hone your skills before taking on your friends. Race against computer-generated opponents and try to get your technique down to a fine art so you can reproduce your best form when it really counts.

Challenge your friends, go for achievements and develop a winning strategy. 100m Men’s Sprint is waiting for you to go for the gold.
