GREENBELT, MD – Nov 16th, 2010– Scaleform® Corporation(Scaleform), the leading provider of Flash®-based middleware and user interface (UI) solutions for the videogame and consumer electronic industries, today announced the hiring of Michael Crigler, a highly experienced industry veteran formerly with Image Metrics, Havok and Criterion, as the Director of North American Sales. Crigler will be responsible for all aspects of product sales and account management for the region, and will assist in the early 2011 release of the highly anticipated GFx 4.0, which contains significant performance improvements and mobile compatibility for iOS (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch) and Android devices.

Crigler comes to Scaleform from Image Metrics, where he led their sales and marketing efforts. Prior to Image Metrics, Crigler held senior sales positions at both Havok, a subsidiary of Intel Corporation, and Criterion, a division of Electronic Arts. Crigler will be based in Austin, Texas making it easy to serve both East and West Coast developers
