NAMCO BANDAI GAMES EUROPE UNLEASHES 'GODS EATER™ BURST' ACROSS EUROPE AND EMEA

LYON– 18 March 2011– NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe, a leading publisher and developer of interactive entertainment software, today announced the launch of Gods Eater™ Burst for PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) across Europe and EMEA.  An enhanced edition of Japan’s best-selling God Eater, Gods Eater Burst offers more than 100 additional missions and terrifying beasts to defeat.

In Gods Eater Burst the Earth has been plagued by terrifying mutant beasts known as the Aragami and humanity’s last hope is an elite group called the Gods Eaters who wield a special weapon, the God Arc. Players will lose themselves in the deep storyline that includes over 90 in-game cut scenes. The furious pace will send players battling through more than twice the number of missions than the original God Eater, demanding quick thinking for tactical shifts between weapons to slash, shoot and devour some seriously livid beasts. The Devour Attack adds a new strategic element as players battle into Burst Mode, boosting their stats and acquiring special bullets to launch potent attacks.

Players will create their own hero and battle against many different types of enemies, picking up items along the way to tailor weapons, guns, and even shield and bullets, boosting their strength and stamina. The strength, patterns, and even elemental types of the bullets can be uniquely customized. Players can also hunt with AI controlled party members, join hunting parties with up to four players via ad hoc, or connect the PSP to a PlayStation®3 and play online using ad hoc Party.

Developed by NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc., Gods Eater Burst for PSP is out now, and is coming to PSP®go on the 20th of April.
