Neoseeker partners with Overwolf to launch an Overwolf client that is optimized for the Neoseeker community

Vancouver, Canada – August 13, 2013 – Neoseeker, one of the largest hardcore gaming and computer enthusiast websites in the world, today announced the launch of the “Overwolf optimized for Neoseeker client” in collaboration with Overwolf, a software company specializing in adding a rich layer of apps and add-ons to games. The new client includes a wide set of gaming features accessible to users while playing their favorite games.  These features include various IM services, video and screenshot capture, TeamSpeak overlay, a music player, an in-game browser and an open SDK to allow players to develop their own in-game apps and publish them to a community of more than two million gamers worldwide.

The exclusive Overwolf version that is optimized for Neoseeker offers a new dimension to the experience of being an active part of the Neoseeker community. Features like an automatic in-game forums access, or a one-click screenshot sharing ability are only the first step in a series of exciting features that will give players the best of Neoseeker while they play.

“Overwolf is an amazing add-on for any gamer who wants to take advantage of additional features while playing their games” said Howard Ha, President of Neoseeker. “We're particularly excited because the Neoseeker Optimized edition of Overwolf keeps our users connected to our community and to things happening around the games they love.  Even after using the Optimized Overwolf just a few times, I know I'm personally going to use the client a lot to send game screenshots straight from in-game to my Neoseeker gallery.  I'm really excited to share this add-on with our users and we hope to keep integrating more features with Overwolf”.

“Neoseeker is an incredible destination for gamers, very rich with content and useful information” said Uri Marchand, CEO of Overwolf. “With an Overwolf version that is tailored for the Neoseeker community, we hope to equip its members with relevant, in-game Neoseeker content, allow them to share screenshots directly to their profile page and bring the overall experience of visiting the Neoseeker website into the games themselves”.

The company’s first product, a software overlay client called the “Overwolf Client”, allows users and game publishers to add a rich layer of functionality to any game without touching a line of game code. It allows users to communicate, easily share game experiences with friends and get instant access to web resources from within the game. It also allows users to develop in-game apps for their favorite games, utilizing Overwolf’s technology, and publish them at the In-Game Appstore. For game publishers, Overwolf is a tool to effortlessly integrate social media within their games, boost virality, reduce user acquisition costs and provide their community with a powerful tool for developing game related add-ons.  To join the beta, please visit: To register for the developer’s closed beta, please visit:
