Network N Ltd, the new media business started by ex-Future games boss James Binns and ex-PC Gamer editor Tim Edwards, has revealed its momentum to date: sharing the audience levels on launch site PCGamesN.com.
PCGamesN.com launched at the E3 trade show in June, with 18 independent fan communities, based on the biggest brands in PC gaming. Network N’s unique platform combines original journalism, with audience submissions and aggregated content from across the web. PCGamesN.com was the first site to use the platform and delivers the best content, about the biggest PC games, all in one place.
In its first full month PCGamesN.com delivered 265,839 unique users, and reached 1,690 friends on Facebook and 18,812 Twitter followers. The five-strong editorial team wrote 350 stories, the feed tracker tagged 1,705 stories and there were 443 articles submitted by readers.
Commenting on the stats James Binns, Managing Director of Network N Ltd said, “The audience has accelerated faster than we could have hoped for. We’re proud of the reach, it’s down to both the content and the platform.”
PCGamesN is also investing in even more content with new talent: two new writers are joining the team, Jeremy Peel and Julian Benson.
Looking forward, Tim Edwards, Creative Director at Network N Ltd added, “We’re lucky to have an exceptional and growing editorial team. In the next four weeks they will be helping us launch another ten channels.”
