New Kindle Game– Wordsearch charts in first day

The games available for the incredibly popular Amazon Kindle are increasing in numbers and the latest addition is Word Search.

Word Search brings the popular puzzle book game to the Kindle.  Intuitive game play uses the 5 way controller to select the words.  Each word appears in a straight line, horizontally, vertically or diagonally in the grid. The game scales up for the DX making it easier  for visually impaired players.  It is also backwards compatible for the smaller Kindles.

There are 50 themed 13x13 puzzles included in Volume 1 covering a wide variety of subjects with a sensible, cheaper than news stand, price tag of $0.99. People who like puzzles and word games will enjoy playing this fun game on Kindle.

Dave Walker, Managing  Director of the Isle of Wight based software developers Oak Systems Leisure Software is delighted with the product. “We’ve been making puzzle games since 2005 for the PC, including Sudoku and Brain Training games.  In my opinion Kindle is a brilliant platform for traditional paper based, puzzle book games and we will certainly be releasing more volumes for this title and bringing our other puzzles to the Kindle”.

Oak are the first developers outside the US to get active content published to Kindle.

Wordsearch can be downloaded from the Amazon Kindle store in the Non Fiction section
