NEXT ENTRY IN THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII TUTORIAL VIDEO SERIES RELEASED

IRVINE, CALIFORNIA -- DECEMBER 22, 2011 -- ATLUS today released the next entry in its series of video tutorials for  THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII , the latest in the legendary fighting franchise, for PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system (PS3™) and Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.  The publisher also confirmed and disclosed release plans for a third DLC character, Mr. Karate.

The ATLUS-produced KOF XIII video tutorial series seeks to give players useful advice and strategies to improve their performance.   The new entry, hosted by James Chen (a.k.a. jchensor), a well-known figure in the fighting game community, and DreamCancel.com's Kane317, focuses specifically on experienced fighting game players, bringing the many nuances and unique strategies of THE KING OF FIGHTERS games to their attention and helping them transition from other popular fighting series.  Its combination of extensive gameplay footage and expert narration is a must-watch for KOF fans!

 

ATLUS also today unveiled the third DLC character, Mr. Karate, scheduled to release on PlayStation®Network and Xbox LIVE® Marketplace on 1/10 for $4.99/400 MS points, respectively.  Releasing alongside this new information was a duo of video packs, showing off the moves and combos of Mr. Karate and also the second DLC character for the game, NESTS Style Kyo.  The videos show off the most challenging, visually stunning attacks the characters are capable of, giving KOF fans ample encouragement to try and master each character on their own.
