In the last update of NumberOne, Neotko presents the "Survival" mode: the challenge this time is the switching modes during the game, changing from basic to enigma or chaos. Time is infinite… as long as you don't make a mistake, which means the game is over.
"Survival" mode is free if you have unblocked all modes or if the player bough one in-app purchase.
Also, this update includes for the first time game statistics. This feature will allow you to measure the player progress: Score, hits and miss numbers, in any of the levels, in the last week, month, year or time lapse the player choose.
An unexpected contribution from Naomi Gurevich, PhD in Linguistics
The idea of incorporating this statistics was given to us by Naomi from Speech Therapy Tech blog http://slp-tech.blogspot.com.es on the review she made of NumberOne http://slp-tech.blogspot.com.es/2012/10/ipadiphone-app-numberone-brain.html and her possible application in patients with memory or focus problems. Naomi has a MA in TESL, PhD in Linguistics (Phonology), and a clinical MA in Speech Language Pathology. In her blog, Naomi proposes the use of NumberOne to improve the attention, focus, memory and image analysis amongst others.
On her review, she indicated she missed the statistics feature to evaluate the real development of her patients through the game. Thanks to her contribution, we have created this measuring tool to make the brain training experience much more fulfilling.
Sebastián Sucho, CEO of Neotko Studios "As a game designer it's fantastic to get this kind of input. We where really surprised to see that our game could be used for something more than just 'having fun'."
