Olivier Rameil Joins Atari as European Sales and Marketing Director

LOS ANGELES - May 16, 2012 -  Atari, one of the world’s most recognized publishers and developers of interactive entertainment, today announced that it has hired Olivier Rameil as Sales and Marketing Director, Europe. Olivier comes to Atari with over 6 years of mobile games industry experience, most recently serving as Global Business Development Manager at Gameloft.  In this new role, Olivier will drive continued market development and growth of the company’s mobile and digital games portfolio across European markets.

During his time at Gameloft, Olivier worked in South East Asia and Europe developing relationships with mobile carriers and manufacturers. He then helped the company launch its best-selling titles on the latest gaming platforms, including set-top boxes and connected TVs. Additionally, Olivier pioneered Gameloft’s industry-leading in-game product placement advertising program and initiated the company’s in-flight entertainment business.
