SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Jan. 21, 2014 - Visionary Realms, Inc. today announced the Dark Knight class, Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen's first revealed class that allows players to tap in to the destructive side of the populace of Terminus.

From the Kickstarter Dark Knight Page:

" The Dark Knight is a leader highly skilled in combat who takes charge on the front line. They’re seen wearing dark, plate armor and thrive in the use of two-handed great swords, long swords, shields, and axes. Though there have been cases where they have used other types of weaponry such as maces, spears or lances. The Dark Knights have the ability to blend in the shadows, manipulate them to attack their foes or even summon sentries of shadow to protect and fight for them. "

The Dark Knight will be a class that will be somewhat familiar to the veteran of the MMORPG genre and will focus on destructive combat abilities and spells.

"In a game like Pantheon, we're really focused on giving players a classic MMO experience but we also want to add a bit of new flavor without sacrificing the appeal of what our fans are expecting," said Salim Grant, Director of Development. "The Dark Knight is a perfect example of that. It will be familiar to our players but it's going to have some unique flare too."

Pantheon  has currently received nearly $190,000 in support from over 1500 backers and continues to stay on track for its $800k goal by February 22nd.
