ST. CATHARINES, Ontario (March 26, 2013) – PixelNAUTS Inc., an independent game studio, today announced LOST ORBIT™ , a vertical scrolling platformer that follows the story of lone astronaut, Harrison who must travel through deep space in an effort to make it home after his ship is destroyed. Players will navigate Harrison through solar systems while the gravitational pulls and forces of the surrounding planets and bodies challenge him on his journey. The studio also released the first images of LOST ORBIT, scheduled for a Fall 2013 release on Steam for PC with iOS and Android versions to follow.

About Lost Orbit

LOST ORBIT tells the story of Harrison, an astronaut and his struggle to return home. Despite his lack of resources, Harrison will relentlessly strive to survive hopeless conditions. Along his mission he encounters evidence that his accident was not an isolated incident and confronts a strange and dangerous alien race.

Gameplay Features

  • Core mechanics include: orbiting, boosting, elemental planets, black holes, gas planets and a host of others
  • Make your way through treacherous environments and strange alien technologies
  • LOST ORBIT will feature several modes including: campaign, challenge and endless mode
  • A large variety of levels set over four distinct solar systems, each with their own unique game mechanics
LOST ORBIT will launch Fall 2013 on Steam for PC, information regarding iOS and Android versions will be released at a later time.
