Playable "Ellen Whitaker's Horse Life" demo available at official website

Deep Silver, the games label of Koch Media, a leading producer and distributor of digital entertainment products, and the French developer Game Life are publishing a playable demo version of the new title "Ellen Whitaker's Horse Life", which is due to be released on PC, Nintendo DS™, and Wii™. Horse lovers will find the PC demo on the official website http://horselife.deepsilver.com under 'Downloads'.

In the preliminary trial version of "Ellen Whitaker's Horse Life", players get to complete various tasks. They are assigned their own horse and need to take good care of it. This includes mucking out the stall, brushing and grooming the animal, and feeding it. They also take it on lovely rides through a gorgeous landscape. Only a happy horse is able to perform at top level. Before taking their horses to the riding arena to practice various disciplines such as dressage and eventing, players can head to the tack store to buy some accessories for themselves and their horses, such as riding boots, helmets, ear nets, or saddlecloths. Once they have trained enough, young riders get to prove their expertise in various competitions.

In“Ellen Whitaker's Horse Life” for Nintendo DS, Wii and PC players can select their horse from seven different breeds and can take care of it, train it and take part in various competitions. The horse's behaviour is thereby depicted in a lifelike way in real-time. All competitions such as dressage, show jumping and cross country are shown realistically. A gripping story really attracts the players to the screens and allows them to experience many differing tasks in a wide range of varied locations.

"Ellen Whitaker's Horse Life" will be released on the 28th of November 2008, for Nintendo DS™ and the 12th of December 2008 for Wii™
