Playr will begin a 6-month run on Showcase TV (Sky Channel 201).
New episodes will premier every Sunday lunchtime at 12.30 and be repeated throughout the following week.
Executive Producer Richard Wilcox commented,“Even though the series has been going great guns internationally and online, it’s good to be back on the box in the UK where mum can watch us.”
Each episode of Playr runs for half an hour and mixes topical reviews, previews and features on video games and gaming culture.
Producer Jason Kilshaw added,“When we were on Bravo, we were an appointment to view, pulling in up to quarter of a million viewers in one weekend. We expect to become an appointment to view again in our new home on Showcase.”
Those without Sky can watch the show online at the same time as it airs on TV at Information TV’s website. ( http://www.information.tv)
