Pockie Ninja players embracing unique game events!

Earlier this month, publisher NGames announced two exciting events for players of their Naruto and Bleach-inspired browser-based MMO, Pockie Ninja, encouraging everyone to add their own twist to the two fan-favourite animes by literally "doing it themselves".

Pockie Ninja players have embraced the two Facebook-driven events - "DIY Comic Challenge" and "Cartoonize Yourself" - submitting a plethora of impressive entries to keep the NGames judging panel busy. NGames are so impressed with the entries received so far that they have released some of their early favourites for everyone to enjoy!

Both running from June 15th - July 12th, the events challenge Pockie Ninja players to take famous scenes and characters from Naruto and Bleach, add their own magic touch, then submit the results in a bid to win special in-game prizes.

Pockie Ninja DIY Comic Challenge

NGames have taken Naruto and Bleach back to their comic-book roots with this DIY competition, challenging Pockie Ninja players to create their own spoof comic panels and earn the "Spoof Master" crown.

"Some of the entries have really made us laugh", said Tracy, PR Manager at NGames, "It's great to see our players getting involved with these fun events! It's going to be hard work picking winners for the final in-game prizes."

Winners will be chosen on July 13th, based on a combination of picture quality, comments and feedback. You can enter now by downloading one of ten pre-made templates from the official Pockie Ninja website (available here!), each featuring different characters and scenes. You must then add your own dialogue, in English, using the provided mapping tools. Alternatively, you can create your own original scenes to make your entry really stand out!

All entries should be uploaded to the Pockie Ninja FanPage Wall(click here).

Cartoonize Yourself! Show off your Acting Talent

Running simultaneously with the DIY Comic Challenge, the Cartoonize Yourself competition has Pockie Ninja players compete to literally become their favourite Naruto and Bleach characters, posing for cosplay style pictures to win generous in-game prizes.

The entries so far have proved just how popular Naruto and Bleach are among anime fans, with some Pockie Ninja players going all-out in true cosplay style to imitate their chosen characters.

"The entries are so good they are almost scary!", said Tracy, "We're blown away by the images our players are submitting we might have to give away more rewards if it carries on like this!"

Entrants can simply pick a picture of any character from either Naruto or Bleach, take a photo of themselves imitating the character's gesture/expression, then upload both pictures (the original and the fan photo) to the Pockie Ninja FanPage Wall(click here).

Play it to win it!

Think you can do better? Why not give it a try!

Both competitions are scheduled to run until June 12th, meaning there is still plenty of time to get involved and submit your own take on the Naruto and Bleach universes and all you need is a free Pockie Ninja account to enter!
