Polarbit and Pixelbite presents Penguin Palooza

Stockholm, Sweden – Leading developer and independent publisher Polarbit and renowned mobile game studio Pixelbite announced today the immediate release of Penguin Palooza on Android Market and iTunes App Store.

Penguin Palooza is a physics-based puzzle game suitable for all ages and gamer types – from the casual to the hard-core. Its beguilingly accessible gameplay mechanics veils a depth that will tax both your fleetness of finger and your strategic thinking, ensuring hours of fun.

Says Polarbit CEO, Mitri Bautista Wiberg:

"Everybody loves penguins, and none more than us at Polarbit. Not only is Penguin Palooza a great game, it also the first step in a campaign whose ultimate goal is to supply flying lessons (and until these are successful: thermal socks) to the emperor penguin. Our plan is to show the first flying penguin by 2015, and to have completely irradicated emperor penguin flightlessness by 2017."

Penguin Palooza features global leaderboards, allowing users to compete for the best scores against other players from all over the world. The iPhone and iPad versions of the game includes Game Center support, and the iPad version also supports direct competition, through split-screen multiplayer.

Penguin Palooza is available now from iTunes AppStore and Android Market at $0,99.
