PopCap Games Announces Bookworm® for Nintendo DSi®Ware in the UK and Ireland

DUBLIN, Ireland– November 8th, 2010— PopCap Games, worldwide leader in casual games, today announced the immediate availability of its first-ever Nintendo DSi®Ware title in Europe. Hit word game, Bookworm®, is now available for download in the UK and Ireland for the price of 500 Nintendo® Points.

Bookworm for DSiWare has been specifically tuned for dual-screen, vertical use and presents an array of new features and modes that are exclusively available on DS. In Bookworm, players must build words from contiguous letter tiles on a grid. Longer and more difficult words score more points and produce a variety of“gem tiles” that offer additional bonuses (and mega-bonuses when multiple gem tiles are used in a single word). Burning tiles sear through normal tiles, reaching the bottom of the grid more quickly; they must be used before they reach the bottom or the game ends.
