PopCap Launches Final Wave of Charity Art Auction

WHAT:          
          PopCap Games today launches the final wave in a month-long series of online art auctions giving consumers a chance to bid on once-in-a-lifetime items from the PopCap vault.

The remaining items under the online hammer this week include a‘Plants vs. Zombies zombie jack-in-the-box concept sketch on canvas’. This piece is on display for a limited time only at London’s Mash Clothing, 73 Oxford Street, London.

Items up for grabs in this week’s final auction include:

·         Bejeweled 3 ceramic lemonade set

·         Bejeweled 3 introduction screen painting

·         Peggle Bjorn archive

·         A personalised sketch to be done post auction with buyer input

·         Plants vs. Zombies street scene concept sketch

·         Plants vs. Zombies zombie jack-in-the-box concept sketch on canvas

·         Plants vs. Zombies light box

Starting bids for ALL of these items start at $1 (dollar).

PopCap is donating 100 percent of all proceeds from the auctions to two nonprofits dedicated to helping seriously ill and disabled children.  In the UK, monies go to SpecialEffect and in the United States, Starlight Children’s Foundation
