Press Release: Dragon Nest SEA Officially Launched

SINGAPORE —  October 21, 2011 —Shanda Games International (SDGi) has announced the official launch of Dragon Nest SEA, following a successful 2-month Open Beta phase. During this period, Dragon Nest experienced massive fervors unlike any other among the gaming community, with an astounding 400,000+ ‘Likes’ to its Facebook Fan Page ( www.facebook.com/dragonnestsea) – making it the biggest Facebook community across all Dragon Nest services around the world.

The game’s transition from Open Beta testing into launch will be completely seamless. Players will retain all of the characters, items and other enhancements they have made since the beginning of the Open Beta phase.

"After two months of Open Beta testing, players can now be sure that Dragon Nest SEA will no longer be in a test-phase, and our service is ready to meet their expectations,” said Addison Kang, Vice-President and Producer of Shanda Games.

As part of the launch, Shanda Games has also released the massive Saint Haven update for the adrenaline-pumping and high-speed MMO game, which includes a new central town, danger-filled dungeons and an increased level cap.

New and veteran Dragon Nest players alike will get to experience new quests and an increased level cap of 32. The world of Lagendia grows even larger with theaddition of Saint Haven, a sprawling new city filled with colourful characters and exciting adventures that promises epic quality rewards. In anticipation of the influx of new players joining in, plans are also in place to open up new Worlds in addition to the current 4 Worlds.
