San Diego, Calif. - December 17, 2009– Psyonix, Inc., an independent developer of videogames and interactive entertainment, announced today that they have completed their move from their former offices into a larger, state-of-the-art facility in San Diego, CA in order to accommodate the steadily increasing size and demands of the development house.
Originally based in Raleigh, NC, Psyonix moved their entire team to San Diego, CA, just a few short blocks from the historic Gaslamp District. Located at 448 West Market St., Suite 202, San Diego, CA, the new fully outfitted office will serve as the central hub for all of their development operations moving forward.
“This expansion of our studio is a crucial step which allows us to develop larger scale, AAA titles in-house,” said Dave Hagewood, Director of Development of Psyonix.“We are extremely excited about the studio's new projects which are already in the works, and we look forward with anticipation to an exciting New Year for Psyonix in 2010.”
Since their move to San Diego, Psyonix has been avidly working on an unannounced AAA project, and the progressive development of Whizzle, a videogame demo released as an accompaniment to Epic's Unreal Development Kit which launched in early November.
