Northampton, UK; December 19th 2008: To celebrate the beginning of the 2009 Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship, Oxygen Interactive are pleased to announce a partnership with award winning Developers Rebellion and Abdução to produce the forthcoming Wii™ and Nintendo DS™ versions Of PDC World Championship Darts 2009 respectively.

PDC World Championship Darts 2009 completely rebuilds it’s Wii Remote throwing method, comes with greatly improved graphics, includes new game modes, new champions to challenge and is slated to ship in the Spring 2009

The UK-based computer games super-developer was established in 1992 by brothers Jason and Chris Kingsley. Their first major success was Aliens Vs. Abdução is a Brazilian independent game developer based in São Paulo. Founded in 2003, Abdução began as an animation company, but quickly changed its focus to game development. In 2004 partnering with Greenland Studios and Instituto Rukha, Abdução started developing its first title an action adventure on PC called Evolution.
