(N.B. The monthly games chart is based on titles released and reviewed in the last month. The apps chart is based on titles released and reviewed over the last three months. Hence, this is not a cumulative chart and earlier released titles may have higher scores.)

Whilst Full Fat's Flick Golf! spent the first half of April at the summit of the App Store leaderboards, its stablemate Coin Drop! has topped Quality Index's equally prestigious chart for the month. Its 60 levels of pachinko-inspired puzzling proved sufficient to relegate two fabulous iPad-to-iPhone conversions Sword&Sworcery EP Micro and World of Goo to silver and bronze positions. With echoes of the Barclays Premier League

title race

, a late critical surge shot  Flick Kick Chelsea up our monthly league table, but it was too little, too late to lift the crown.

Fossil Software's monstrously versatile AppZilla 2 - 100 in 1! gave its maker two reasons to celebrate over the past four weeks: a coveted spot on our Top 10 list and its one millionth download! From converting currencies to scanning barcodes, calculating tips to translating French, no task is too arduous for the hulking AppZilla 2. And speaking of France, Fotopedia Paris transports you to the City of Romance in a flash via slideshows, images, and interactive maps. Say adieu to those old-fashioned Rough Guides forever!!

We'll continue to provide an updated listing each and every month, together with a round-up of the year. For all the up-to-date information on which games, apps, and publishers are reviewing best, head on over to the  Quality Index  now.
