(N.B. The monthly games chart is based on titles released and reviewed in the last month. The apps chart is based on titles reviewed over the last three months. Hence, this is not a cumulative chart and earlier released titles may have higher scores.)

It appears as if the maker of You Don't Know Jack really does have all the answers, as it's outsmarted the opposition to finish atop the July Android Qi game chart. Like some sort of big zany pub quiz played on your Android device, it's a definite winner. Close behind at #2, Ending is a brutally effective combination of turn-based battler and logical puzzler. It's also starkly beautiful, in its own way. Speaking of minimalist puzzlers, Semi Secret Software's enigmatic timing-based game  Hundreds is in fourth position this month. Finally, at #6, Riptide GP 2 is almost destined to follow in the footsteps of its predecessor and become a go-to 3D showcase for a new generation of Android smartphone owners. Oh, it's also a rather fine aquatic racer in its own right.

Things are all spic and span at the top of the July Android Qi app chart, thanks in no small part to Android AutoClean. Remove clutter, recover space, and claw back memory without a second thought. At #3, we have yet another weather app, though this one's from a British institution. BBC Weather is just about the cleanest, slickest, and most dependable weather app on the Google Play Store. Going way beyond mere photo filters in fourth spot, mind, is Deco Sketch. With this app installed on your 'droid blower, you can turn your pictures into works of art, complete with funky geometric shapes and trippy effects. Down at #8, meanwhile, GetThemAll Any File Downloader does exactly what its title suggests, enabling you to grab any material from websites. All of the video, music, images, and other files available on a website are analysed and presented in a unified download list. Handy.

We'll continue to provide an updated listing each and every month, together with a round-up of the year. For all the up-to-date information on which Android games, apps, and publishers are reviewing best, head on over to the  Android Quality Index  now.
