(N.B. The monthly games chart is based on titles released and reviewed in the last month. The apps chart is based on titles reviewed over the last three months. Hence, this is not a cumulative chart and earlier released titles may have higher scores.)
Word Up Dog finishes February atop the iPhone Qi game chart, and deservedly so. This is a completely fresh take on the humble word game, in which you take control of a hip hop-spouting dog (yes, you read that right) and dig for hidden letters. 'You diiiig?' Ah, forget it. Down in third place, meanwhile, we have some interstellar multiplayer action in Everplay's Rock Blocker. It's a retro-tinged twin-stick shooter with some neat same-device co-operative and competitive modes. Coming back down to earth for a second, Cordy 2 plants its feet firmly on the #5 spot. It follows in the successful footsteps of the original Cordy by serving up yet more sumptuous 3D platforming gameplay. Finishing this list on a rather more cerebral note, though, we have Puzzle Restorer from Gavina Games. In this gentle puzzler, you fill in gaps with one continuous line - a sure-fire route to Zen-like calm.
We all like to indulge in a spot of coffee table psychology, so there's little surprise that He is She has topped the iPhone Qi app chart for February. Create profiles for those around you and figure out what's making them tick in GRsoft Labs's handy tool. In the #2 berth this month is Geo Challenge, a great and colourful way for kids to learn geography. Spin the globe, explore new countries, and hear greetings in various languages. Speaking of culture, Nigellisima helps Nigella Lawson spread her particularly posh home cooking message to the Android masses at #3. If you're more interested in taste of the fashion variety, though, check out DailyCandy Scout. This hip utility lets you track and inform others about what's cool in the world of street fashion. Proper dench, man! Ahem.
We'll continue to provide an updated listing each and every month, together with a round-up of the year. For all the up-to-date information on which iPhone games, apps, and publishers are reviewing best, head on over to the iPhone Quality Index now.
