· Casual game receives massive update and new content
· New social features promote interaction between players
Hamburg, October 10, 2011 – RamaCity ( http://www.ramacity.com/) is moving into the next stage of construction: The popular casual game from Bigpoint ( http://www.bigpoint.com/) is now even better, with more events and wild times! RamaCity offers a top-to-bottom remodeling of the gaming experience with numerous improvements – including a variety-rich quest system and more in-depth interaction with other players.
Beyond the challenges of developing a flourishing metropolis, the new quest system in RamaCity gives city managers an entire set of new tasks to incorporate into their daily lives. The Urbies have lots to get done too: The story quests are small stories based around the amusing city dwellers that provide exciting adventures. The inhabitants are now also mobile: The vehicle pool feature offers players the chance to interact directly with their friends. Players can send trucks to neighboring cities and work together to earn profits.
To ensure that existing RamaCity players get a chance to enjoy all of these new innovations, all existing accounts have been reset to level 1. Not that their prior achievements are wiped away, of course: Already earned Downtown Dollars are being credited, and city-building veterans will receive an exclusive building in the form of the beta tower. This item is used both to denote experienced players and to make it easier for them to level up. The end objective: To ensure that both previous and new inhabitants of RamaCity can look forward to exciting, challenging building projects!
"All of these innovations for RamaCity are designed to provide our gamers with an even better gaming experience," explains Tobias Reisberger, Chief Games Officer at Bigpoint. "We've significantly improved several core features of the game to do so, which means that we've optimized practically every facet of RamaCity."
RamaCity can be played at the official website www.ramacity.com. The game also has a Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/ramacity that provides the chance to talk with other mayors about construction projects and learn other tips.
