The videogame will permit users to participate in the virtual universe of Real Madrid
Madrid, July 10 2007– The Real Madrid Club de Fútbol and Virgin PLAY have reached an agreement giving the Spanish company the exclusive rights to produce and distribute the club´s games for the next five years.
The game’s debut is scheduled for the Q4 of 2008 for PC, Xbox 360 y PS3, as well as handheld consoles Nintendo DS and Sony PSP. The game will give fans a chance to participate in the club reflecting the its sportsmanship and humanitarian aspects and will be allow fans to simulate their own career with the Real Madrid team and create their own virtual life in a Real Madrid universe created just for them.
The agreement has come at a time when digital entertainment is stronger than ever. Real Madrid will be strongly linked to the project offering opinions on content, sports assessment and give an in-depth perspective on the clubs management and social aspects in order to offer the most realistic portrayal of the club in the videogame.
