REAL TIME STRATEGY GAME SPARTA 2 – ALEXANDER THE GREAT TO BE PUBLISHED BY LACE MAMBA GLOBAL

Brighton, October 21 st, 2011 – Players will be able to slip into the role of Alexander the Great and lead the ancient Macedonian nation: Publisher Lace Mamba Global announces the release of the real time PC strategy game Sparta 2 – Alexander the Great, which simulates historic battles around the iconic commander.

Lace Mamba Global plans to publish Sparta 2 –Alexander the Great on January 27 th, 2012 in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, the Benelux countries, Greece, Portugal and the UAE.

Upon the death of Philip II, the kingdoms surrounding Macedonia refused to accept the authority of his young successor. Alexander was treated as a child – but he proved himself as anything but a weak link in the dynasty. He seized power with fire and raw steal. Within just two years of his ascendancy, Alexander conquered Greece and continued his conquest to the East.

The unshakable Persian empire, conceited Egypt and aggressive India all perished in fire, as the great Alexander marched through.

In Sparta 2 – Alexander the Great, developed by the Russian team Game Factory Interactive (GFI), players take over the role of the commander and lead Alexander and his armies to take Macedonia to new heights.

Players will have to recruit armies and develop battle tactics for their infantry, cavalry, artillery and naval units. They non-linearly choose their missions and strategy on an interactive global map. The players’ armies will gain additional strength and fame by acquiring special weapons, vehicles and resources directly from the enemy armies from the battlefields.
