REAL WARFARE 2 UK/AUSTRALIAN RETAIL EDITION ANNOUNCED FOR JANUARY 2012 – TO ADDITIONALLY INCLUDE FULL VERSION OF REAL WARF

Brighton, December 02 nd, 2011 – Lace Mamba Global and 1C Company today announce the release of a retail version of the PC RTS game Real Warfare 2: Northern Crusades in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Iceland and Kuwait, starting in the UK and Ireland on January 27 th, 2012. The retail version, priced £24.99/€24.99 (recommended retail price), will additionally include a free full version of the first Real Warfare game, Real Warfare: 1242.

Real Warfare 2: Northern Crusades is the next step in this series of realistic PC real-time strategy games covering various periods in the development of present day civilization from the Medieval Ages to today.

This new title allows players to witness the key events in the history of the Teutonic Order in the 13 th century, namely conquering the pagan Prussia. The player will act as a Komtur of the Teutonic Order as they relive the battles of the crusaders, regardless of the low manpower of the Order and the strong resistance of the heathens. All battles from a single storyline campaign.

As in history the Komtur is not simply limited to participation in battles. The strategic map places the player into a colourful and integral world and allows them to travel around the map in real time. The mode features full freedom of movement, dialogues with locals, RPG elements, quest system and much more. However, sooner or later, the players will have no other choice other than to engage their faithful warriors into battle. This could be combat with other armies, large-scale sieges of towns and castles using various special assault weaponry and tools, and fighting right on top of the walls and fortifications.
